Hey guys, my first post here! As much as I try to do my Splits and Flexibility routine twice daily, I often find that once a month, I find a day that I don't seem to have time to do it. Is taking a day off from stretching a real big deal or should I stop sweating missing a day a month. thanks guys!

It all depends on how serious you are to learn the flexibiity and get your body and legs into shape so maybe you can do the splits and perform better. But as far as a day or 2 thats not a biggy but a month would be
Rest days are just as important as training days. Even more so as you get older and your body needs more time to recover.
Listen to your body, if it's telling you rest seems like a good idea, then it most likely is.
I'm 41 I tend to get 2 rest days a week from my training regime- why because I need the recovery time
don't sweat it. however no matter how busy you are you can always find 10 minutes to do a number of light stretches for maintenance. i always do the lunge/lunge with backleg rotated/cossack/lunge with backleg rotated/lunge sequence because it loosens and stretches a whole number of leg and hip muscles in a jiffy. It's in the ES DVD.
If you can keep on stretching twice a day for a couple of months, results are guaranteed. some stretches/conditioning exercises are better than others. experiment on which ones work for you. Once or twice a month I need to take few days off just to refresh the muscles.
It is printed pretty clearly in both the book and the DVD cover that you should do the morning routine 3-6 times per week ie: have at least 1 recovery/rest day a week. So in reality you should probably be having approximately 4 days per month off. I wouldn't be stressing about only 1 day a month.
