GA Lateral Tricep Press - Problem - 02-05-2010, 04:49 AM

Hi Paul and others,

I have a problem visualising what I am meant to do in the Lateral Tricep Press. I have tried to follow the instructions about what to move first but I just don't seem to be able to get in to the right position.

Paul, I am hoping that you'd be able to do a little video of how to do this exercise. I am sure that others would find it helpful too.

If anyone has any helpful advice then please let me know.

Cheers,

James.

James,

This is not an easy exercise.
Which progression are you using and how far along are you?

Paul

Hi Paul,

Yeah I know it's not easy, in fact it's probably really really hard.

I have been working the GA Level 1 on a off for good while. I started GA in January 2009 and spent the rest of year messing with foundation and then level 1. I wanted to move to level 2 but got very stuck at the lateral tricep press and I suspect that lack of triceps strength is the issue. However, I am working on that area again with elevated diamond press ups, and other exercises.

Anyway, the main thing was that I can't even get my brain around what is actually meant to happen in the movement of lateral tricep press, what is meant to move first etc.

Could you explain that please?

Thanks

James.
